For users of the REMAX Europe Listings connector
This privacy policy describes how the REMAX Europe Listings MCP connector ("the Service") collects and processes personal data. The Service is operated by PMSCS REAL ESTATE FRANCHISING, INC., Alpenstrasse 15, Postfach 7863, CH-6302, Zug, Switzerland (hereinafter "REMAX" or "we"), acting as the data controller. This policy complements the REMAX Europe website Privacy Policy.
1. Your personal data
The Service is read-only and requires no account or login. When the AI assistant calls the Service on your behalf, it transmits the structured search parameters it has derived from your request — for example country, city, price range, listing type, and the display language. We also record anonymous usage events (which searches run, how many results they return, and pagination, sort, refine, and outbound actions in the widget) for product analytics. We do not receive your name, address, telephone number, email address, account identity, or the content of your conversation beyond those structured search parameters. The Service sets no cookies, uses no third-party web analytics, builds no user profiles, and never sells or shares data with advertisers.
2. Purposes for which we use your data
We use the search parameters to query the REMAX Europe listings API and return matching listings to you. We use the anonymous usage events, in aggregate form, to monitor and improve the coverage, reliability, and quality of the Service. We do not use your data for any other purpose.
3. Legal basis for the processing
To the extent any of the data described above constitutes personal data, the legal basis for the processing is our prevailing legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the Service (Article 6(1)(f) EU General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR").
4. Optional translation
If you use the translation feature, a listing's title and description text are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for machine translation into your language. This is public listing content, not personal data.
5. Disclosures and data transfers
We use Cloudflare as a technical service provider for hosting, edge caching, analytics, and AI translation; the upstream listings API is operated by REMAX. Some of these recipients may process personal data outside your country, including outside the EEA, where the level of data protection may not be equivalent to that in your country. Where this is the case, we rely on an adequacy decision of the EU Commission or on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914). Such safeguards are accessible upon request from dataprotection@remax.eu.
6. Retention periods
We retain the anonymous usage events for no longer than three months. The Service holds no account and stores no other personal data about you.
7. Your rights and remedies
Under applicable data protection law, you have the rights (i) to check whether and what kind of personal data we hold about you and to request access to it, (ii) to request correction, supplementation, or deletion of personal data about you, (iii) to request that we restrict its processing, (iv) to object, for legitimate reasons, to its processing, and (v) to request data portability. Because the Service holds no account and no data that identifies you, we are generally unable to link data to an individual, so in practice there is typically nothing to access, correct, or delete. In case of any complaints, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
